Today, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina (Blue Cross NC) launched a new social media campaign about the value of health insurance. The campaign runs through the end of March, and:

  • Highlights the personal stories of real members who, through health insurance, were able to get the care they needed.
  • Educates our members about the value of having health insurance.
  • Showcases Blue Cross NC’s digital-savvy tools that help our members every day.

In addition to a feature blog post about three unexpected health insurance benefits, the campaign features member stories about:

  • Kate, who grew up without a right forearm, and through her Blue Cross NC health insurance, she was able to get a quality prosthetic that helped her become more self-confident.
  • Tom, who appreciates his Blue Cross NC health insurance because of the quality of the network providers and the amount of his care that was covered while he was dealing with anxiety and depression.
